Re: controling SAMSUNG Air Conditioner

I meant a circuit diagram. It is hard to see the connections on the transistor. I suspect it is bad-ish Put a 100r to 1K resistor between pin 3 and the base of the transistor. Change the resistor in series with the IR LED to between 10R & 100R. Even better do a web search for a good example Ir trans...

Re: Send some IR raw

The signal you get is clearly bad. However I do'nt know anything about your IR emitter circuit & type of ESP8266 you are using. Also the receiver you are using. Links & photos/schematics would help. Similarly desbribe you Rx platform as well. Please copy the all of the above and the additional info ...

Re: Controling PANASONIC AC

Make sure the AC is OFF..if you are trying to turn it on and vice versa. I have cleaned up the signal using AnalysIR our windows application, which is available for purchase from our webshop. /* Automatically Generated by AnalysIR - Batch Export Utility Registered to: info@analysir.com Session Histo...

Re: controling SAMSUNG Air Conditioner

I presume you meant IR receiver (not emitter)... try recording with the following sketch from our blog: https://www.analysir.com/blog/2014/03/19/air-conditioners-problems-recording-long-infrared-remote-control-signals-arduino/ That will improve things a lot If it doesn't work, please confirm you hav...

Re: controling SAMSUNG Air Conditioner

2 things.. - Try using 38kHz for the AC & not 40kHz....most ACs are 38kHz - The buffer size in that code is 100 in size. You signal is longer that 100...so increase the buffer size for 'durations' Finally, make sure to bring the emitter close to the AC as you are driving it directly from the GPIO pi...

Please delete this post and create a new topic, as it is not related.

I will look at it once you have done that.

Re: send IR signal to AC

Just change the timings to match the ones in the signal that works. Change each value to the closest one in the working signal.

Of course, that is why we offer a great tool (AnalysIR) to help with this, which would have saved a lot of time :)

Have fun & glad we were able to assist!

Re: send IR signal to AC

OK just add a delay(10000); at the end of the loop.

Otherwise you are continually sending the same signal which will be rejected as noise by the IR receiver & AC unit.

Also, if you are sending ON...make sure the AC is actually OFF, as nothing will happen is it is already ON
