Re: Constant current IR LED circuit

It could also be that the GPIO pin can not provide enough current to drive the transistor + the 2 diodes. Try taking out the diodes and see if it is any better. Maybe I should consider using a different transistor? The TIP120 is a bit too huge I guess. Agree just any jellybean NPN is OK (I usually u...

Re: Constant current IR LED circuit

As before put a resistor on the emitter of the transistor. It is likely the IR LED is blown because of effective short. resistor value: 3R (you can make this up by paralleling 3 or 4 10R resistors) This resistor is required.!!!!! You cannot put a yellow led in place because the current is much highe...

Re: AC Mitsubishi - use Arduino as IR remote - Raw data issues

I suggest you try to get it working first with a TV+remote to show that you understand & your hardware is working correctly. In the last capture above you should remove the '-' signs before compiling. If that does not work for you, please open a new thread and post more details (Sketch, transmit...

Re: Constant current IR LED circuit

post a circuit diagram of your setup -hand drawn is OK showing part numbers and values etc. Also show the voltage supply to the IR LED(s)

A photo would also be useful .

FYI: having no or too low value resistor 'could' blow the IR LED and/or transistor. See my previous post!

Re: Learnir V2 doesn`t work with analysir

I just did a quick check and did not see any order from you for AnalysIR. If you did make an order for AnalysIR, please email the reference directly to support@....com (do not post here) The app you downloaded only runs in demo mode (before registration) and this would explain why it didnt work for ...

Re: Learnir V2 doesn`t work with analysir

In AnalysIR, Menu->File->Serial Port->Set BAud Rate->250000

The BAud Rate will then be remembered for future settings.

Make sure you have updated to the latest release....9445 or later. (Link was sent by email after purchase)

Re: Learnir V2 doesn`t work with analysir

Have you changed the default BAUD rate in AnalysIR to 250000bps?

Re: NIBE AC Protocol

Thanks, I got the session file and after checking it out....I cannot find any obvious pattern for the checksum. Using LSB8, the checksum is clearly in the last 2 nibbles. However the encoding is not obvious. It may just be a subset of bits in the these nibbles. If I were to guess, it is more likely a...

Re: NIBE AC Protocol

Please send a saved session file (Menu->File->Save Session) to me at info@Analysir.......etc

I will then have a look at it. Given the 90 bits makes it more difficult & would [NOT] work well with the checksum calculator by default.
