Great, thanks for the review and committing to a fix in next version. If possible, it'd be great ( if not technically difficult ) to avoid resetting the device type away from the user-configured device type. I can't tell you how many times I've scratched my head, wondering what I was doing wrong, on...

Although the issue manifested in AnalysIR software , the short version: Heisenbug that went away after 24 hours. I was then able to capture all the signals in AnalysIR ... doing it manually with the `scope was not particularly fun. THANK YOU for the support, even if underlying cause was not discover...
