Setup & network trouble shooting

A user had some problems getting the network connectin to the RPi established, and although most people find it straight forward to follow the instructions provided, we provided the following additional tips: "while checking properties in analysir software i see default ip 192.168.137.100."...

Re: Reverse engineering Fujitsu Nocria 14 AC Am I doing t ri

@eriksson25 Thanks to your tip, we have now implemented a new checksum calculator feature, integrated into AnalysIR. It will surely save a lot of time for users in future, having a quick method to calculate & validate checksums of various types ( SUM, XOR & CRC ). This feature will be includ...

Re: Reverse engineering Fujitsu Nocria 14 AC Am I doing t ri

Must look into adding a checksum calculator, like the one in the link, into AnalysIR...normally I just use the Windows calculator in HEX mode - which is a bit manual.

I have not tried to decipher the timesetings for the timer part. Hve I done it right? If I am right, could I now pic a Hex codestring, calcula...

Re: Arduino: Infrared Issue - Send RAW data

The circuit is just a 100K resistor between ground and the LED.
That explains a lot....it should be just 100 ohms (100R). I am surprised you would get anything out of a 100K one (maybe a typo?)

Anyway, good to hear that its working out.

Re: Arduino: Infrared Issue - Send RAW data

Based on a quick inspection, I couldn't see anything wrong with your code. Please upload a saved session file, with a selection of signals recorded from your remote. Also, please post the Make/Model # of the AC Unit & remote being tested - for future reference. It might be worthwhile trying out ...

Re: Midea HVAC protocol

Except AnalysIR doesnt capture the full second frame.
Use the horizontal scroll bar under the trace or adjust the scale control for channel 1 or channel2.

You will then be able to see the full signal.

Re: Midea HVAC protocol

Good news... I imported the history file you posted into AnalysIR and your signals decode OK as the 'Electroluc96AC' protocol. This is not unusual as many units are rebranded from other manufacturers. To enable AC decoding, you need to do the following: Menu->Protocols->AC only . Then do Menu->Power...
